The Creative Management of personal Happiness.

An Introduction.

Most of us are managing, or attempting to manage, something important in our lives right now.  It could be work, finances, exercise, nutrition, children; any number of things.  Some of you are most likely stressed out about it or even worried that you will fail.  Some might consider giving up altogether and checking Facebook at this very moment only to be lost in the myriad of useless information therein.  At this instant we call NOW I would urge you not to do so.  What I would urge you to do is take a quick trip with me.  A trip which, hopefully, will start you thinking differently about how to manage the different aspects of your life and ultimately your overall well-being.

How We Go …

So I’m getting married this month. Let me be the first to say that I am the luckiest man on the planet, sitting right here typing to you. This blog begins in the midst of wedding preparation, which is a non-stress-free situation. Translation: STRESSFUL. Not to mention the farm that led you here is about to open its new 30,000 square foot facility in Manor, Texas, just outside Austin. Now it is primarily these two aforementioned factors that make me so fortunate. It is also these two factors that make me one stressed-out human. So what do I do about it?  A lot.  I have to constantly manage my HAPPINESS to keep myself FOCUSED.

Managing Happiness.

Since I’m in the midst of several life changing moments I’m going to be relating them along with a bit of my personal story regularly, on this blog.  Read as I chronicle a “wedding cleanse” over the next eighteen days as I prepare for our Ceremony, and stay tuned for the daily protocols for entering, maintaining and closing the cleanse.  It should be a way to shed a few pounds while scrubbing my cells of whatever waste products I have accumulated over the past few months.  One not-so-often mentioned benefit of cleansing is that it is a tremendous exerciser of the “will.”  I consider this to be the most important aspect of happiness management.

I will be sharing “recipe-shorts” regularly on this site as well.  These are quick and healthy recipes that you can try for yourself at home.  It isn’t a coincidence that some of the products we grow will be part of this healthy lifestyle.

Now this information mentioned above is just the proverbial “tip of the iceberg.”  We will delve into a broad range of issues that might just surprise you, learning all about future farming techniques, local lifestyles and new nutrition methods to help you manage your life so as to broaden your experience and generate real contentment.
